The Weather in Spain

Spain has one of the most stable but, at the same time, most varied climates in Europe.   There are three main weather zones on the mainland: Maritime, Continental and Mediterranean, and one for the Canary Islands. Spain Flag

The Flag of Spain, officially adopted on December 19, 1981, is composed of three horizontal bands, two red ones on the top and bottom and a middle band of yellow (double width) with the national coat of arms on the left.  The coat of arms includes the royal seal with the Pillars of Hercules on each side representing Gibraltar and Ceuta.  The Coat of Arms of Spain is composed of six other coats of arms.
