Sephardic Segovia Guided Tour3+ hours |
The Sephardic Segovia Guided Tour offers you a look back in time to when Jews, Christians and Muslims peacefully coexisted in Spain. Segovia was home to an important Jewish community, which you'll learn about with your guide as you walk the streets of the judería (Jewish quarter), see the former synagogue, and visit a Sephardic museum to discover more about local Sephardic culture. Segovia's aqueduct is a testament to its importance during roman times, and it's clear from the abundance of Romanesque Architecture that the city flourished during the 10th and 11th Centuries. The southern part of town was home to the judería, as seen through its street names, converted synagogue, and the Jewish Quarter Education Center.

"The day-long trip with you to Segovia was wonderful, and your driving through the mountains provided us with spectacular scenery and the suckling pig lunch in Segovia was superb. We had an absolutely great trip to Spain and your guide service proved to be very significant in our assessment of our two week vacation. Thanks again from all of us and we look forward to the day when we will once again meet you." --Gary, Barb, June, and Robin, 2006 Read more testimonials
