Tirso de Molina is a beautiful square in the heart of Madrid where the neighborhoods of Barrio de las Letras, Lavapiés and La Latina all come together, creating a lively and interesting atmosphere. Madrid's major sites, including all three top museums, the botanical garden, the Retiro park, the El Rastro flea market and the Puerta del Sol are within walking distance of the apartment. These three neighborhoods are also well known for restaurants and nightlife: traditional pubs in Barrio de las Letras, wine bars in La Latina, and ethnic cuisine in Lavapiés.

The apartment is well-communicated on public transportation. The Tirso de Molina Metro stop (Line 1) and bus stops for many lines are right on the square, and the Atocha train station is a 15-20 minute walk away. Most major sights are within walking distance, and there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks.
