Malaga City Break

3 days
450€ pp (for 2 people)
Includes hotel

Escape to the port city of Málaga, part of the last Moorish stronghold in Spain, in this 3-day, 2-night Málaga City Break, and discover how this Andalusian gem is reinventing itself. You'll see Málaga's past, present and future while experiencing its big-city attractions, including the Picasso museum, as well as the local charm of its pedestrian city center and Pedregalejo beach.

This port city has a great mix for the traveler: a lively walking center, great shopping, awesome tapas bars, ancient ruins and attractive museums. Some of the biggest attractions include the Picasso museum, his birth house, the Roman theater, the botanical gardens and the modern art center. The fortress is like a small Alhambra with views of the ocean; seafood restaurants along the mellow Pedregalejo beach are filled with ambiance and Málaga's friendly and easy-going locals. Coming attractions include a Thyssen art collection and a fine arts/archaeological museum. This city is the undiscovered coastal gem of Andalucia, and is a great base for discovering the region.

"Our trip was wonderful thanks to your help and the guides you selected. I had before I contacted you to arrange for guides but in most instances they did not respond to my e-mails. All your guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. I liked it that they were native to the cities we visited. We liked the Hotel Urban and my grandson not getting a mint on his pillow but a gummy bear shaped as a sunny side up egg. Thank you again for making our trip to Spain so enjoyable."  --Jim, March 2008, Chicago, USA
